1. Why do you like photography?
I like photography because of the people it brings into my life. My clients become more than just clients – sweet friends to laugh and enjoy life with. From engagement photos to family photos, I am grateful to watch a couple grow into a family. Sometimes our sessions aren’t just strictly photo sessions. Most of time it feels like we’re just hanging out and having a good time.
2. What is your favorite type of photography?
I enjoy all types of photography, especially ones that are outside the “lifestyle portraits.” I’ve recently saw an interview in the Korean News of a photography by the name of Jordan Matter. His work is pure art, and I love the concept he brings to life.
3. Share a funny story about your photography…
If you ask my clients, I go all out during a photo session. I like to get down and dirty… sometimes when down… rip my pants. Right in front of them. At least we got some more smiles after that happened. 
4. Share a photography trick or tip…
The best pictures when taking photos of children, is to remember how the simple, goofy things can make any child smile. A simple whack in the head with a branch can go along with some nice big smiles! Yes… I walked into a branch and hit my head while I was shooting a photo. Luckily I didn’t get hurt, but the boys thought it was the funniest thing ever. The smiles on their faces were priceless!
5. Why do you love SmugMug and/or jR Customization?
Through trial and error with other websites, SmugMug was the best of the best for what I was looking for with my photography. I wanted a centralized place where clients can view and download the photos. jR Customization completed this perfect picture with creating the “new look” my site was in need of.
6. What is your major goal or photography project for 2013?
My major goal for 2013 was to combine my blog account from WordPress to SmugMug. jR Customization was just the right web designers I’ve been looking for. I loved the various designs I could choose from, and from there jR gave it a personal touch. Their personal touch turned my website to reflect who I am and my work. jR Customization made the process so simple and easy! Now that’s what I call great client connection!
When SmugMug launched their new design and site, I was freaking out. Who better to calm you down, than jR Customization. jR Customization was quick to answer my question and made the transition even easier! Customizing to the new SmugMug world has been the best decision for my site. I hope my website can truly speak for itself. I love it and I love jR Customization!
